Day 5 - Misha Ashton Photography

This Giveaway is now closed. Thank you to all who participated. You may continue to leave comments for the artist, however they will not be entered into the draw. Still, why not show some love. ;-)

According to Misha Ashton's bio, she is a photographer, graphic designer and craft maker located in Portland, Oregon USA.

Says Misha, "I have been taking pictures for as long as I can remember and even with the whole digital craze, I am still addicted to film. Most of all slide film cross processed. None of my work is photoshopped, everything is done either in the camera or in the developing process.  I mount my photography on woodblocks and coat them for protection and texture. If you prefer an image to be framed, you can purchase the image as a print and frame it anyway you like!!

I have also started using my extra prints to make jewelry and belt buckles. I love the world of crafts and photography. I goals are to photograph the world as I see it, to show people the world through a different eye."

Where can you find more on Misha and her work?

I browse Misha's Etsy shop on occasion, taking note of everything I want to buy. :-) Her photography is stunning and I could seriously find a place anywhere in my home for her work.

Thank you Misha for participating in this giveaway.  The winner of this draw will receive the following 2 photo note cards entitled City Of Roses (top) and Green Blossoms (bottom), along with a floral scented solid perfume from Blossoming Tree.

It's obvious who the real photographer is so let me just tell you that these photo note cards are very pretty "in person".  And the winner is going to just love them.

The rules are simple:

1)To enter visit the featured artist's website or other online shop and look around. Come back here and comment on an item you'd like to have.

2)Winners will be selected using random.org and announced on Dec 17. Start Dec 8 at 12:01 AM and ends Dec 10 at 11:59 PM.

3)One entry per person. Duplicates will be discarded.

4)International guests are welcome to enter, however I reserve the right to exchange any item that is restricted by or may cause a delay in customs.

5)You must leave a way for me to contact you be it an email address, blog, twitter id, website or online shop (Etsy, DaWanda, Artfire, Silkfair, etc). The winner will have 48 hrs to respond otherwise an alternate will be selected.

I love Blossoming Pagoda http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=13782601

It has such an unusual perspective on a popular subject, and the hint of color draws me in even more.
