Day 4 - A[n]Teris

This Giveaway is now closed. Thank you to all who participated. You may continue to leave comments for the artist, however they will not be entered into the draw. Still, why not show some love. ;-)

Tell us a little about yourself
I think a little is all there is to tell about myself. I've been writing crazy fiction & poetry since I was about 14 years old, so I guess you can tell that I've been slightly bent since about then. I'm glad to say that the creative spark has carried over to my two kids!

How long have you been crafting and what made you decide to sell?
Like I said, I've been writing since I was 14... thank goodness I've gotten out of my "emo" phase. What made me decide to sell? Way back then, I read a book and decided "Hey! I can do this!" Hence the insanity was born.

How do you promote your work and where can we find it?
You can find me at anteris.etsy.com. I try to self-promote as much as possible and I also rely on the kindness of the strange -- I mean strangers -- to help me out. If you find one of my business cards in a random spot in your neighborhood, I've done my job well.

What inspires you to create?
Everything. The craziest things inspire me. For example, for The Defender's Burden (which I started when I was 16), the whole inspiration for the interesting physical characteristics was a 64 color crayon box. No, I'm serious.

How do you organize your time?
Um... while I know what the word is and I can use it in a sentance, the actual usage of the term escapes me.

What is your favorite item that you create?
My writing always has top billing, but I have to say right behind that are the rosaries I make for my other shop,liviasjewelry.etsy.com. Did you like how I did that?

Can you give us some background on the piece that is offered in this giveaway?
The Defender's Burden has been about 25 years or so in the making. It's an epic fantasy fiction in three parts, published serialized, like the classics back in the day.

What are your business plans going into 2009?
To become as successful as life will let me.

Do you have a blog/facebook/myspace/twitter so that others can keep in touch with you?
I actually have all four. I'll start you off with my blog: liviastreasures.blogspot.com

Thank you Tina for participating in this giveaway.  Soooo...what will the winner receive?  Well, that would be the first 4 chapters of The Defenders Burden from A[n]Teris along with a Blossoming Tree creamy body butter made using jojoba oil infused with a lovely scented amber resin.

The rules are simple:

1)To enter visit the featured artist's website or other online shop and look around. Come back here and comment on an item you'd like to have.

Bravo for being a writer! It takes a lot of work!

I like the serialized format of books - since it breaks it up into something easy to read! Good luck!

I think many people have been inspired by Crayola's 64 color box - there is just something about that collection of brilliantly hued wax that gives rise to amazing creations from young and old.

My favorite item from Livia's Jewelry shop is Seraphina http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=17128610

These earrings are so full of sparkle and the color is so vivid.
