I Joined Face Book

Today's rambling:

I finally broke down and signed up. Really, it was only because my aunt sent me an invite. Being an independent crafter I guess it is all about networking as much as possible. But there are so many of these spots popping up one just can't keep up. I'm on Ning and LinkedIn. Now with Facebook added that's about all I can manage at the moment.

Still no desire to join Myspace or Twitter.

I know the feeling, there are just so many websites to join and promote or get to know people. Its finding the time to keep up with them all... hope it works out for you though

LOL! I just blogged about this same subject (well, not facebook exactly) last night!

I haven't ventured into Facebook yet! I'm having a hard enough time keeping up with what I'm already involved in!!

Best of luck!

Groovey, I agree. I get so many invites to sites I'd never heard of. I'm to the point where I just delete them.

fat ninja, I'm going to look you up on facebook.

Sandra, I know the feeling lol.

As a self employed gal I find it is important to network all over and as much as possible so thus I have profiles on Facebook, Myspace, two on Blogger, Etsy, YouTube, Talentdatabase, iLike and Flickr. Of course there are probably some I'm forgetting lol. Its all about shameless self promotion right :) How do we find you on Facebook? I'm looking for you now...

Thanks for visiting my blog, looking forward to reading more of yours!

You're right. I just got an invite for Facebook also...I'm going to have to set a schedule to keep up. I'm in 8 ning groups, 1 blog (that's all I can handle), now flicker and facebook - these two I don't even have up and running yet.

so, how long will I be able to resist facebook? lol Resistance is futile!

I tried to resist lol. The only reason I signed up was because of my aunt. There are lots of folks on there I know but they're on other sites as well so I'm not sure how it's going to help with marketing, but we'll see lol.

Hi Lisa, I love facebook, it's a great way to stay in touch with old & new friends. Not sure if you know you can add your etsy mini to your facebook page. If you need help let me know. Thanks, Melissa Trice
